Kevin Nelson

Kevin Nelson is a visual development artist for the animated film industry, in particular Disney Animation Studios. He has worked on films like The Emperor's New Groove, Tangled, Bolt and Meet The Robinsons. What little I know about him is not from any biographical material conspicuously absent from his blog, but simply because he has posted some images there from his work on those films. In addition you will find work on personal projects and some life sketches. Nelson has one of those delightful drawing styles that can be at once precise and energetic, with enough “snap” to his lines and angles to suggest motion and vibrancy. He also has wonderful control over his color palette and uses atmospheric perspective to great effect.

Abigail Larson

Abigail's strange and macabre illustrations have been shown in many cities throughout the US and Europe, including NYC, Los Angeles, London, and Paris. Her first gallery show was at the Edgar Allan Poe Museum in 2009. Since then she's gone on to work with DC Comics, Dark Horse, IDW, Titan Comics, Image Comics, Universal, SYFY, Sideshow Collectibles, Netflix Animation, WB Animation, and Disney Books. In 2016 she won the Hugo Award for "Best Professional Artist."

Didier Cassegrain

Didier Cassegrain was born in 1966 in Châteaudun, Eure-et-Loir, and currently lives in Avignon. He worked at Disney Studios in Montreuil for a year before joining Story. It was there that he met Fred Blanchard and Olivier Vatine, both of whom inspired him to do comics. From this meeting Tao Bang was born, a series in which he demonstrates an originality and an evident graphic quality. In 2006, with Fred Duval, he began the adventures of Code McCallum, published by Éditions Delcourt.

Gustaf Tenggred

Gustaf Adolf Tenggren (November 3, 1896 – April 9, 1970) was a Swedish-American illustrator. He is known for his Arthur Rackham-influenced fairy-tale style and use of silhouetted figures with caricatured faces. Tenggren was a chief illustrator for The Walt Disney Company in the late 1930s, in what has been called the Golden Age of American animation, when animated feature films such as Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Fantasia, Bambi and Pinocchio were produced.
