Michael Whelan

  Michael Whelan (born June 29, 1950) is an American artist of imaginative realism. For more than 30 years, he worked as an illustrator, specializing in science fiction and fantasy cover art. Since the mid-1990s, he has pursued a fine art career, selling non-commissioned paintings through galleries in the United States and through his website. The Science Fiction Hall of Fame inducted Whelan in June 2009, the first living artist so honored.   Juan Antonio Giménez López, known simply as Juan Giménez (Mendoza, November 26, 1943 - Mendoza, April 2, 2020), was an Argentine cartoonist and illustrator, known for his comic science fiction stories published in various countries around the world . Passionate about drawing from an early age, at the age of ten he loved copying the covers of paperback books and American and Spanish magazines; later, in his adolescence, he put on paper the sequences of the films that had most struck him.
