Mika Akitaka

  Mika Akitaka ( 明貴美加 Akitaka Mika?) is a Japanese mechanical designer and video game creator. He is mainly known for his work in the Mobile Suit Gundam ZZ and Mobile Suit Gundam 0083: Stardust Memory animated series. As a mechanical designer for Sunrise, he was involved in Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam, Mobile Suit Gundam ZZ, Mobile Suit Gundam 0083: Stardust Memory and City Hunter. He is also credited with illustrating the MS Girl series featured in the Model Graphix monthly magazine. He is close friends with fellow mechanical designer Hajime Katoki, animation director Kazuaki Mohri, and manga artist Kia Asamiya.

Sandro Clenzo

  Sandro Cleuzo is an internationally renowned character designer and animator for major studios, from Disney, Dreamworks, Sony, Don Bluth Studio to the Laika studio. Among his films: Thumbelina, A Troll in Central Park, The Pebble and the Penguin and Anastasia (Don Bluth Studio); Fantasia 2000, Tarzan, The Emperorʼs New Groove, Home on the Range, Enchanted and The Princess and the Frog (Disney Studios); The Secret of the Furious Five, The Legend of the BoneKnapper, Secrets of the Masters and Me and my Shadow (Dreamworks). And again Axterix and the Vikings, Curious George, Chico and Rita, Angry Birds and KUBO by Laika. He teaches animation and character design at the Nemo Academy in Florence, with which he has produced numerous educational books on character designers and animation that have become reference manuals for young artists from all over the world.
