Didier Cassegrain was born in 1966 in Châteaudun, Eure-et-Loir, and currently lives in Avignon. He worked at Disney Studios in Montreuil for a year before joining Story. It was there that he met Fred Blanchard and Olivier Vatine, both of whom inspired him to do comics. From this meeting Tao Bang was born, a series in which he demonstrates an originality and an evident graphic quality. In 2006, with Fred Duval, he began the adventures of Code McCallum, published by Éditions Delcourt.
