Alex Eckman-Lawn is a Philadelphia born illustrator who spends his days in the gutter and his nights in the sewer.

lex creates multi-layered, hand-cut, paper collages using everything from his original digital paintings to imagery from old medical texts. Each layer is spaced, creating a depth that draws the viewer into the pieces.  His work has appeared in comic books, on album covers, book covers, T-shirts, music videos, newspapers, and posters.  His cut paper works have most recently been on display at SCOPE Miami Beach, Art on Paper NY, Paradigm Gallery + Studio, Arch Enemy Arts, Art Dept., Gallery 1988, Cotton Candy Machine, and Copro Gallery and more. He is currently hard at work trying to burn his name into the ground and pull the sun out of the sky.

Alex's work appears in the following comics:

Awakening Volumes 1 and 2, Popgun volume 4 (Rusted: Faded Signal), Mouse Guard: Legends of the Guard (Leviathan), The Graphic Canon Vol.1 (Forgive Us Our Trespasses), and the Eisner Award winning Little Nemo: Dream Another Dream. He is working on an all ages adventure book called Thanatos Diver right now.

Alex has worked with all of your favorite bands, including: Inter Arma, Horrendous, Maruta, King Dude, Abbath, Woe, Krieg, Nero Di Marte, Hacride, Nesseria, and many more.

Martin Claus, 1880-1956 (at least that's what we think, but it might be not totally correct), german illustrator. We don't know much about his life, we can try to stitch together a timeline of his career from the dates of some of his works

The earliest example of his illustration is from a 1919 edition of the satirical magazine Meggendorfer Bl ätter, he would have been 31 years old, so it's sure that there are earlier works, but there's no evidence of them. Probably he was employed by the magazine as a staff artist. He had a different range of styles and techniques used all with technical and creative success .

Peggy Bacon

Margaret Frances Bacon (May 2, 1895 – January 4, 1987) was an American artist, best known for her satirical caricatures. Bacon studied under Kenneth Hayes Miller at the Art Students League of New York, where she taught herself drypoint and published her first caricatures in the student magazine. They soon appeared in publications such as The New Yorker and Vanity Fair, as well as major art galleries. Bacon earned many awards, including the Guggenheim Fellowship for creative work in the graphic arts.
