Alberto Fabio Lorenzi (Fabius) was born in Florence in 1880. About ten oils remain of his artistic activity in the first decade of the 1900s and as many prints of illustrations. An almost unknown artist in Italy, he was one of the most brilliant illustrators of French publishing products in the first magical decades of the 1900s, managing to integrate perfectly into the artistic community of Paris. He was among the first to reflect himself and follow the new artistic current of those years, the Art Nouveau.
