Derrick was born in Bristol in 1885 and was educated at Sidcot School. He trained as an artist at the Royal College of Art, later spending five years there as an instructor on the decorative arts.He married Margaret Clausen, the daughter of the painter George Clausen.

His oil painting of the Judgment of Paris, painted in 1914 as a design for a mural, was given to the Brooklyn Museum of Art by Adolph Lewisohn in 1923, and exhibited there in 1925.

In 1924 Derrick co-designed three posters for the Underground Electric Railways Company of London, and was the sole artist of a fourth in 1927. From 1931 he was active as a cartoonist, contributing to Punch, among other publications.

He moved in broadly "traditionalist" artistic and intellectual circles, numbering among his friends Hilaire Belloc, G. K. Chesterton, Ananda Coomaraswamy, Ernest William Tristram, and Vincent McNabb, the last-named being the priest who received him into the Roman Catholic Church. His work also appeared in G. K.'s Weekly.

Martin Claus, 1880-1956 (at least that's what we think, but it might be not totally correct), german illustrator. We don't know much about his life, we can try to stitch together a timeline of his career from the dates of some of his works

The earliest example of his illustration is from a 1919 edition of the satirical magazine Meggendorfer Bl ätter, he would have been 31 years old, so it's sure that there are earlier works, but there's no evidence of them. Probably he was employed by the magazine as a staff artist. He had a different range of styles and techniques used all with technical and creative success .

WLOP

WLOP (real name Wang Ling) is a hobbyist digital artist from China, actually based in Hong Kong; very well-known for her painting process videos, where he reflects detailed stories within the fantasy genre. He is very active in the main social media where he can showcase his art, like YouTube, Devianart, or ArtStation, as well as being active in Patreon. In YouTube, he uses the speedpaint process to show its painting process from beginning to end, with Photoshop as its main content platform. WLOP's art is beautiful and amazing, extraordinarily sensitive and nostalgic. It represents normally female characters in active or emotional scenes, sharing its whole photoshop painting process from beginning to end so its community can learn from him.
