Illustrator and graphic designer of Spanish nationality, born in 1982, Josan Gonzales alias Death Burger, has depopulated on the web and on social networks thanks to his colorful graphic novels with an unmistakable cyberpunk look.
The illustrations in clear line style (a particular drawing style used in the creation of comics characterized by a thin, clean and elegant sign) by Gonzales, hand-drawn and finished on Photoshop, full of details and characterized by an intriguing palette of acid colors , focus on the relationship between humans and technology, and show influences from Moebius, Geof Darrow, Hiroaki Samura and Akira's creator, Katsuhiro Otomo.
Observing the works of Josan we are catapulted into a hypothetical dystopian and hyper-technological future, a chaotic, gloomy and horrific world, populated by strange cyborg characters, and dominated by machines and programs that become an integral part of the human body, robotic prostheses that transform appearance and enhance its abilities, to allow it to do impossible things.
